I listen to these film podcasts and hear these guys talking about all this stuff that went completely over my head. There are things said and implied in classic films that I don’t get (and will probably never get). To put it bluntly, I’m not smart enough to understand and read film. I know when a film is good but I don’t know why.
But at least I can still enjoy classic film; that’s what’s important.
